Consumer Insight Manager

Job Objectives/Responsibilities: Support the strategy of Marketing Asset Management by providing critical insight to drive property decisions, development of marketing programs, and the allocation of company resources. Assesses sponsorship opportunities for consumer relevance and brand linkage of potential sponsorships and makes recommendations to brand groups, and account groups.

 

Required Skills:

  • Four plus years of experience in, packaged goods, food and beverage, retail, advertising agencies, consulting, and market research

  • Knowledge of or experience in, marketing especially brand-building and image-driven strategies

  • Experience negotiating contracts with research suppliers and agencies

  • Experience developing brand/property strategies with brand groups to serve as the foundation for all related marketing activation programs

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

  • Exceptional business marketing, project management, and presentation skills

  • Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Product Manager

Job Objectives/Responsibilities: Is responsible for managing existing product lines; generating new product ideas and developing new products; researching, developing and implementing product, distribution and marketing strategies, while providing guidance and direction to senior management on all product performance issues. The Product Manager will also ensure that outcomes and conclusions, which favorably impact the performance of the companies' products, are acted upon and completed.

VP Sales Marketing/E-Commerce

Job Objectives/Responsibilities: Outstanding opportunity to join an exciting Internet marketing start-up on the ground floor as part of the executive management team, working to establish the company as one of the major players in a $13+billion market. This company has been in development and testing for 2 years and is now preparing for a massive advertising/marketing campaign. Reporting directly to the Chairman, this position will work closely with the balance of the key management team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a successful strategy for marketing the company and its products over the Internet on an on going basis and maintaining web site content.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5 years sales management

  • Strong marketing experience

  • In depth understanding of the Internet, Internet web software (MS Front Page), and Internet marketing techniques

  • Must have strong organization, leadership skills, excellent written, and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in using tools to conduct market and web site analysis

Strategic Planner

Job Objectives/Responsibilities: Join a small group of strategic planners that define the overall strategy and develop the business and product plans that are the roadmap for this existing and new businesses. Specific responsibilities include defining the strategy and developing the business and product plan for several of the emerging areas. Possible areas include lodging, international vacations, cruises, advertising, small/large businesses. For each area, you will first create and then justify the strategy and business plan to the executive management team. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and operations to develop the product plan, which is the basis of the product development efforts. If the decision is to acquire the assets necessary to enter into the business you will work with business development to find the appropriate company or technology.

 

Required Skills:

  • An MBA, Economics degree, Computer Science degree, or a proven track record for building new businesses

  • Internet or software-related experience is also desired

  • Key requirement in an entrepreneurial mind and spirit

Promotions Producer

Job Objective/Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include developing and executing strategy for merchandising, editorial promotions, and special promotions within the product group, across the promotional inventory, and throughout the company affiliate distribution network. Responsibilities also include coordinating with marketing team on implementation of online customer communications and supplier promotions across the network. Individual in this position must have an absolute passion for figuring out what types of promotions are most effective and why. S/he will be responsible for generating regular reports and analysis on promotion's effectiveness and will be responsible for communicating these reports to leads within the programming, marketing, PM, and operations team. Promotions producer will be responsible for managing promotions scheduling and processes for insuring clear communication of what schedule to marketing, editorial, operations, program management, supplier, and distribution partners. Promotions producer will also help define requirements for promotions and reporting tools necessary to measure promotion effectiveness. Position requires significant collaboration and coordination with marketing, editorial, PM, and operations teams to develop the right vehicles for presenting promotional messages and supplier inventory to customers.

 

Required Skills:

  • Voracious get- it- done attitude, excellent communication skills, composure under pressure

  • Strong project management skills, ability to interface with all functional groups within the business, with network distribution partners, affiliate sites, as well as the supplier partners

  • Web publishing/product management and/or relevant e-commerce experience a plus

  • Experience working with designers as well as copy editors/writers also a must

 

Marketing/Direct Marketing Lead

Job responsibilities/Description: This Marketing team is looking for someone to lead there direct marketing efforts, both online and in traditional direct marketing channels. Additional responsibilities include, online advertising, e-mail communications, loyalty program, and personalization initiatives, including management of a substantial budget. This position is also the primary marketing client for their customer database development team, and is responsible for detailing measurement and tracking requirements and acting on results. This is a unique opportunity to build a robust online database-marketing program from the ground up. Reports to VP marketing.

Required Skills:

  • 5 to10 years experience developing and executing direct and database marketing strategy, at a senior level on either the client side or agency side

  • Dot-com marketing experience is preferred but not required
